Interview with Jayrahx

by MUUMIS & hex6

We interviewed an up and coming artist, this time in text form. Today, we’re talking to Jayrahx, an artist based in California. He’s got a multitude of sounds ranging from the hardcore side in his song Bruce Lee, to punk/melodic in his song Ultraviolet.

How did you get started in music?

Trying to find the newest curve in music is what inspires my sound the most.

How would you best describe your genre?

I don’t think I have a genre, if anything I’ll call myself punk bedsides I’m going against the mainstream with everything I do, but at the same time not all my music is just punk or rock or metal. I have R&B, I have west coast rap. Honestly, I’m trying to make every type of music so nobody can limit me to a genre.

What is the most difficult thing you’ve come across when creating music?

Creating music isn’t difficult, having the money/ means to do so is the hardest part. I know so many people that are good at making music, but never try at all.

How did you find the confidence to make your music public and start performing?

I get confidence because I’m a natural performer and I like the thrill.

Where do you see yourself in the upcoming new year?

In the upcoming year, I want to get my music to 1 million views at least.

If you could give someone any piece of advice that wants to start making music, what would it be?

The advice I would give to someone starting to make music is never lose the fun in it, make the art for you and be original.

Where can people listen to Jayrahx?

People can listen to Jayrahx on every platform. I drop 4 songs every month, if I’m not dropping projects.
